I just made a gaming site 1 day ago, but the link exchange guys only want PR2 and above, I am very angry with this I am sure PR 0 sites can grow and become big. The guys who exchange links don't look at the big picture. Anyway no offense, I just got angry because no one reviewed my website or sent a pm for a top quality gaming website. Well anyway what do you guys say, does a PR 0 site have hope??
PR is just something people use as a selling point when they have 0 traffic. If you've got a PR0 site getting 2k+ uniques a day (which would probably mean it would be a higher PR soon), you'll still be able to sell links for a good price. The gist of it all - PR is meaningless except to those sheep who buy links on PR4 sites for $50....
People doing link exchange are trying to build backlinks Higher the pr of backlinks, the higher your Pagerank will be.
Yes, it' the tyranny of PR Some fool (me) thought PR didn't mean anything Anyway, just submit your site to free directories here and your PR is sure to climb, but it might take a while as the next PR update is upon us (apparently). Good luck with your site
Pr is logaritmic so exchanging links with high pr sites would surely help better , that's why people don't want to exchange links with new sites.Built links and good content and if you prove your site worthy we'll queue to link exchange with you. The next pagerank is getting near possibly you won't catch it and get a toolbar pr , start working for the next one.
The next PageRank update should being to show before the month is out. Depending when Google takes a snapshot of your site will determine, in part, your site's ranking.
PR is useless anyways(except for selling links), I don't know why they make such a lot of fuss about it.
It DOESN'T mean anything. It's utterly useless in terms of ranking; it's only good for selling links. There are so many more things you should be concentrating on other than PR.
Link exchange guys,looking for high PR link exchange,that is their right,you do not have to care.For your PR 0 site,do not feel disappointing with that,it is only one day old anyway,i think you should preare and update good content daily for it,or you can buy good links for it,that will promote your site and PR both.
Submit to directories is a good start, No matter the pr of the directory. There are thousands of free directories out there, not even requiring a backlink. You can start with mine: http://www.mysearchplace.com and have a look under directories. Good luck.
get backlinks from high pr sites then your pr will increase! but then i guess it won't affect in this update as it is too close now! probably in the next Pr update your site will get some pr about 3-4 months from now! think for yourself, if you have a PR5-6 site, will you exchange links form a nice pr0 site! anyways! cheers!
I'm kind of new with the computer stuff. I know how to get on one and work on it, but as for knowing what PR0, PR1,PR2, etc. I'm clueless. Is there any out there that can explain this to me and how I can find out what my website is. Thanks so much.
