Can I get sued?

    Since I am using this domain which is related to tube word like youtube and then I made something like divxtube.ca now I am taking videos from stage6.com putting it onto my site, will I get sued or something

    doubt it for the tube thing but the stage6.com maybe, if they can prove it.

    No problem with the word "tube", but stay away from ripping content you don't own or licensed.

    Prolly for the stage6.com thing, thats never a good idea and that content is much easier to prove.

    I would figure out a way to get original content instead. Best of luck!

    ok how about if I download the file from stage6.com and upload it to my server and then use there divx player to play the file will that work or no

    No you shouldn't get sued, the only time you can get sued by youtube is if you violate any of their TOS or copyright. Your not so you cant'.

    just flog videos from youtube.... use their imbed code (there r ways to byupass the little youtube sign thingymajiggy, not that u should do it or anything....)

    youtube not, but DivX. I am not sure if they are interested in protecting their trademark, but they probably could.

    Like Hanz says.

    The main issue here is not getting sued by Youtube, its getting sued by DivX, because you have their whole full name in your domain.

    If you use your site for something they don't like, then you will probably get a trademark infringement letter.
