I just start optimizing my SEO Service site before two weeks.I just do : Social Bookmarking ; Directory Submission ; Blog Commenting & Forum Signature I didn't submit to more directories ; only to high PR sites which offer free submission from our Directory Forum. Submit to Social Bookmarking sites with high PR ; And to few blogs ; And now I get 351th keyword word position So hope I will get more SERP in the coming updates. One of my proxy sites is having 16th in SERP ~!
how competitive is the keywords you are targetting? Howmuch traffic do they have? WHich tool you are using to track the progress of SERP? SEO related keywords can be very competitive!
hhhmmm... well, you did a good job, but alemcherry is right. if your KW is not that competitive, then your rankings can easily climb to the top. But if they're competitive then you did a good job.
Do you get any traffic at 351st? That seems like a ways from the first page. Or am I just not understanding what you said?
The keyword is 55% difficult when I checked with SEOchat ! The keyword is Cheap SEO Services I need to do more ; All the suggestions are invited.
Cheap SEO Services has 48 searches per month according to Overture. Maybe you need to do some keyword research? If you did you would see that nobody actually searches for anything with the term "SEO" because only SEO's know what it means. Go for "online marketing" or something instead.
Very good tip. Always try to get in the head of your future customers. What would you search for if you were them ? It's not a rule that the most competitive searches are the most searched for. Some easy keyphrases will convert way better then other more competitive.
how old is your site? if your site is new, it's not a success because google is giving a chance to the new web sites

Its only an example.I am having few another sites too.My proxy site is having 114 position in yahoo for the keyword " proxy sites " and many more ! I just quote this only because my site is new and getting SERP fast !
well i got on to 13th for a highly competitive keyword with difficulty of 70%, however i have fallen again to 49th...what could be the reason anyone?? I changed some alt tags thats about it and maybe added a word in description. BTW the site was just launched 3 months ago.

SEO is only a success when you get rankings for a search term that sends traffic. Do any of these terms send visitors?
