Ok people I just found a great list of forums which allow signatures. As you probably already know that forums with signatures and without the nofollow attribute are a great way to drive free traffic and increase serps. Here is the list

http://forums.webjedis.com *soon* once we get our forums up
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com<- I love THIS ONE!
    http://www.Webmaster-Talk.com
    http://forums.seroundtable.com/
    http://www.submitexpress.com/bbs/
    http://www.startups.co.uk/
    http://www.wahm.com/forum/default.asp
    http://www.googlecommunity.com/
    http://www.v7n.com/forums/
    http://www.opentravelinfo.com/
    http://www.directory-owners.com

Please note this is only a partial list. I got the list from the following website.
    http://webjedis.com/in-order-of-pr-list-of-forums-that-allow-signature-links/
I searched google and found the website in Digg. It has a list of over 50 forums that allow signature and also lists their PR. Good luck!

I think some of the forums listed have no follow tags on them. Make sure before you join them.

Wouldn't that be a lot of random posting? How could one post and post and post on a number of sites, let alone a few? WOW.....

    rcj662......what are follow tags?

Javeline post different content. Yes it is alot of posting but think about this. You are getting free traffic and the pay off on the internet is money for effort. Either you can invest effort for traffic or money. It is up to you.

The no follow tag is a tag which tells search engines not to cast a vote in favor of the website which is being linked to.

For example if you post a link on my website and I add rel="nofollow" to it then the search engine will not view the link as an inbound link for your website and hence it will not help your search engine ranking.

But when you do not place the tag, the search engine counts it as an inbound link and that helps the linked website's serps.

hmm..unfortunately some really good forums such as webmasterworld do not allow sig's. Pitty really. They should be allowed. After all it is social networking and if you are helping others then why not be allowed to show off your website. Brings better results to people than search engines. You can show off your talent and people get a much better idea about what they can expect on your website as opposed to search engine results.

Here's another Webmaster Forums that allow signature links and doesn't use the nofollow tag.

Even if they did use nofollow they are still good to use.
