What is the most accurate tools to check how many searchers for one keyword? I have used http://tools.seobook.com/ and when I compare its yahoo results with http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ the two results are different. Why is that and what is the most accurate tools then? In example, now I want to know how many people in one month typed "a" in google, I should use what tools? Actually I even more confused with all the keywords tools out there because all of them always give me different results each others. And the differences between them are not small.
actually i ever asked about this in this forum but no one satisfied me with their answers. Can someone now give me the answer? Because I think it will be stupid if I optimized my website for a wrong keyword.
https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox Don't bother with the bid amount, select all countries.
OK, i have seen the green bar in "search volume". If it's about 40% of the bar filled, what does it mean? How many searchers then?
click it estimates? What do you mean? Do you think it's the only correct keywords tools? Then why would many people recommend us to use some other keyword tools?
The tool I posted uses data from Google. All other tools use data from other search engines. If you want to know how much traffic you will get from Google then this one is the best. For example I typed in [internet] and it says 325 - 407 clicks per day. This is based on 5% CTR so the search term "internet" gets 20*400 searches per day on Google.
Then what search engines tools.seobook.com used? Because of this tools, I optimized the wrong keyword. In tools.seobook, they said one of my keywords has around 6,000 searchers monthly only from google (and seobook said from all search engines it is around 11,000) but unfortunately adwords.google.com said that keyword didn't have any searchers (the green bar was empty and clicks per day is zero). How can this happened? I am very dissapointed with so many tools out there..because their results are completely wrong...at least, if this adwords.google tools is true
What keyword is it? My guess is that Google's Adwords data is more accurate for Google searches than any external keyword tool.
it is "footballer wife". I am optimizing this keyword because in tools.seobook (select UK results) they said it has around 6,000 searchers per month from google only (now only around 4,800 but two months ago it was 6000). I have searched "footballer's wife" and "footballers' wives" but seobook can't find any searchers for them. The only results are "footballer wife" and "footballers wife". But in adwords.google, I have found that "footballers' wives" and "footballers wives" are quite competitive but unfortunately "footballer wife" have no searchers at all in their results....If I know about this, I wouldn't optimizing this wrong keyword. It is one of my keywords until now...
Whatever the tools say who would ever search for footballer wife? There can't be many wives who play football. Footballers wives on the other hand is a popular TV show...... I don't think Yahoo counts plurals which is probably the problem here.
same with tools from seobook. When you try searching for "footballers' wives", the result is: "footballer wife" has the most searchers.. anyway, thanks for all of kind replies here. I think i will only use adwords keyword tool next time.
many tools are present for keyword searching. they are not give same result because they collect data in different center. I use https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox tool for searching my keywords.
