How does google index images

    I have included alt text in all my images of my website. but still non of those images is indexes. what should i do next

    make sure the names of the files are descriptive. surround the pictures with text describing what the image is about.

    Log in to Google webmaster tools, and opt into "Enhanced Image Search"

    I have put description on all images. plus the pictures apear in rich content pages. but still cant see results

    The HTML in the link should look like this, it needs to contain the image size, title and alt tags.

    <img height="100" width="100" align="left" title="Descriptive Title" src='http://exampleURL.com/' alt='description for Google' />
