Can we file case against google for bounce check Lol.. I have to recheck my all deposited google check status in bank because never check status after deposit in my bank as its google check Its really Unbelievable
Yeah, looks like it is. I really hope that the bit about how crappy it is to have nothing in the way of customer service is a bit of a wake up call for Google. I mean, they are supposed to be the leader in technology here... if they are going to have a fully automated phone support system, then it should be the most kickass combination of voice recognition and answer database there is, fully integrated with a Google powered help system, ya know? Complete with the ability to measure the stress in the customers voice, and know exactly when to play soothing music. I hope she gets results from this... if so, it would be the second time in 2 weeks that someone got better customer service due to blogging about it. Pops from SEORefugee just had something like that happen to him with Charter Communications. He blogged about it (in the form of a toon, at ToonRefugee), and it got picked up by Google Finance (a fluke, really), and the director of the customer experience for Charter Communications saw it. -Michael
Then perhaps you should actually read the thing, before putting up any serious money on that "bet". -Michael
That is a funny story...and it might be possible that someone in the account department didn't put enough funds in that particular account......Every thing is possible in this world
Crazy, I wonder what sort of traffic she is getting to her blog now. I bet she will be smilling when she recieves her next google check, just hope it is not made out of rubber
Hi How can believe this story? Let her to publish the collection bank's statement about reason of cheque boucing(scaned copy of chque bouncing statement)
I have a feeling it was intentional and was a PR (public relations, not page rank) move. Bravo googlites.
I think with as many checks as they probably send out, it was bound to happen sometime. They probably allot a certain amount of money to an account to cover the checks and someone messed up the numbers, or since the check was so old, there wasn't funds to cover it anymore. It's how quickly and politely Google corrects the mistake that matter to me....
