Well at this point of time I am re-investing 100 % of my profits to get quality back links to my bidding directory.
max 25$ is reinvested back to keep the current efforts stable and small continious improvements @ gii.in
I invest ALL right back into my directories as i have alot of people that do work on them and my most important job is to get them paid for thier services on my network, wether its, mods, design, advertisers, hosting or whatever else i make sure those that work for me are paid on time for thier help. thx malcolm
I have set my goal to reinvest 100% until i hit PR 6. At that point I will probably do 75%. I have invested much of my own money and don't expect it to payoff for a year or two.
To me my directories are a labor of love...From the very little I make on my new directories I reinvest a 100 percent...then again I have very deep pockets....its all a buzz.
Initially, the directory wont make money for first few months, so i pump in few thousands from my pocket, then when it starts giving revenue, i wait upto the time investment is recovered, when it is done, I let the directory go autonomous or self-funded. Whatever comes from it , goes into it, making it bigger and bigger day by day.
I average about 130% investment but I am getting close to being able to start breaking even. Translation I invest 100% + approx, an additional 30% of my monthly directories income.
7 months have passed since I started my directory and still I'm investing like 130% Hope this figure change soon.
As currently my directory http://www.zendir.net is new I am spending whatever $$$ comes from submission + I am spending from my own pocket too.
More backlinks and trying to gain in SERPs. And I will do a redesign of the site soon, but that doesn't cost me money, only time
@Velocity - pardon? Any problem if i dont fake in the above post ? :| Edit : just found it was meant to be 25% Sorry not 25$
The majority of mine goes back into various projects that are under develoment (although the most goes towards directory promotion) - i do, very occasionally though, indulge myself by buying a new gadget...
