Yeah I looked it up also and when I went to the site itself it show a thumbnail of aviva but then I realized it didn't go with the rest of aviva site so was just curious is it QBC or just someone trading in on Aviva's name
I don't know if you could consider it QBC because it's a new domain name and the owner appears to be adding it to directories. Just some one ridding of Aviva's name if you ask me. Wait, then again it could be considered QBC because he is using Aviva's name trying to make a buck.

Yes you are right... He is having an aviva thumbanail on the site... Even the testimonial is for Aviva.
People own hostgatorreviews, hostmonsterreviews.com and so on for getting affiliate money then why not this site Think big guys!
It is owned by a DP member participating in the Aviva Directory affiliate program. Sekrit - there are other ways besides whois.
Hmmm would you care if someone decided to say ok... i like amits name and his directory has much traffic i think ill buy Gii-reviews.com would you be happy? I didnt think so.... and its brand stealing if jeff didnt ok it with the person whos using it... Ahhh was not aware of this so.... i guess it is ok since hes an affiliate as thought it was yet another attempt to steal his trademark and or brand name. thx malcolm
Jeff hasn't spoke anything on this, and i think he is not aware of this(or i may be wrong) Anyways the whole idea of using this kind of domain is not good..
Well if they give you a great review and promote your site whats the big deal? If The person is hurting an image or something i can understand.
I agree with you... There is not brand stealing here, or am i blind. The content does not say anything of owning the brand or for that matter stealing anything from the site A smart affliate page, but definitelty not a QBC I would love to have somone make one of those for me
If you own a brand that has a large presence in any market then you have to be prepared for this sort of activity. avivadirectoryreviews.com isn't trying to copy avivadirectory.com in any way, what it is trying to do is make money via the affiliate program. Isn't this what affiliate programs are for? The only issue is whether the owner of Aviva wants to take issue with the use of the term 'avivadirectory' in the domain, personally I think its a fair use.
That's actually a very good point! I think it's OK what he is doing as he can review any site, be an affiliate, and refer. BUT his name includes AVIVA which if not givin permission may be wrong unless he has permission. Just like "Bad Medicine" (a Bon Jovi tribute band). It's great what they are doing BUT they had to get a license to do it from Bon Jovi. As is also to sell Bon Jovi T-Shirts. So if this guy had a different name it would be perfectly legit. To use someone elses name you need a license/permission to do so. Thanks.
