Anyone else seeing a huge increase in GoogleBot activity? I feel the next toolbar PR update looming.. It's close.. i can feel it in my bone..
I noticed about 70 bots hitting my forums and about 15 minutes later they were gone. Although I didn't take the time to look at where the bot's were from.
Oh, I don't know there is a relation between Googlebot activity and Toolbar PR update. Thanks for info.
i'm not sure that there is a relationship between the two.. That's what i'm asking.. AND the update is close, because i feel it in my bone (it itches)..
I strongly believe that there is a relation. Google will do his best to reflect accurate and up to date toolbar PR, as such, they need to update entirely their cache.
Several of my websites have moved to the 1st page in Google under certain key words in the last 24 hours. Something is definitely happening! One of my websites moved from Google’s page 5 to a page 1 yesterday in the 9th position-- now today it's still on page 1 except it moved up to an 8th position. Googlebot has accessed most my sites two times this month. Currently I see no PageRank change, but I feel it just around the corner.
Terabite snapshot was taken on July 15th, as i predicted earlier. The hint was there in my Webmaster account for last 3 months can you guess what it is

Bots look normal Backlinks in the Google Webmaster Tools has updated so you're probably correct on a new update occuring soon.
