    :D

    I just have to say one thing about Affiliate Marketing - WOW.

    I have been using so many methods and been experimenting them and I have to say that Commission Junction is the best place to make lots of easy money.

    Some affiliates are paying me $25 per sign up - for example, when a user signs up to receive FREE info.

    I am using various methods to generate these leads - mainly I am using Craigslist marketing and other ways.

    Just letting everyone know, its not hard :) Go for it:D

    Yes, I agree. I have been using CJ ads on my site and doing some email marketing with them also and I have seen wonderful results!

    Watch out, Ebay is very picky about how you advertise.

    How do you get them to the affiliate page? I've hurd that if in the ad, if you link right to the affiliate URL, people might report you to the affiliate program as SPAMing. What categories convert the best in Craigslist?

    Knightman, congrats.

    Come on, now. I built up my websites for a year and a half with total revenue of under $200. That's about $0.50 an hour.

    You come in here this month and expect us to give up the cookies?

    You think I'm going to give away all my secrets, now that I'm netting 2k/month (pretax, which, I'm now finding out, is going to be significantly more than the 30% I'd counted on)?

    Here are the "secrets" I'll share:
    <goodwill>
    1. Look for the niches no one else is promoting, or, more accurately, no one else is talking about on boards like this.
    2. Look for the ad networks no one else is talking about. Everyone thinks they're ready for PPC and goes straight to Adwords or YSM, when quality traffic can come from other sources, namely Adbrite. If you fail with YSM or Adwords, that doesn't mean other outlets won't provide quality traffic cheaply (I'm experimenting with advertising.com right now - though they seem expensive, had a dismal experience with superpages.com, and am constantly on the lookout for other networks).
    3. Buy cheap traffic, but filter it with your ad text. This will bring cheap, targeted traffic in.
    4. Isolate the variables. When trying out a new product, only advertise it on one network with one ad. If you don't see the desired results, then change the ad, or the timing, or the network. Only one change at a time and you'll learn from your mistakes.
    5. If you have a question, google it with site:digitalpoint.com at the end of your query. Chances are, someone here covered it two years ago. You can learn a lot more from reading than from posting.
    </goodwill>
    Now, can someone give me a link that shows how Craigslist marketing works? I've heard a lot about it, but it seems like only local ads would work, since it's divided by city. Locality doesn't matter when you're selling ringtones.:cool:

    Since the Iphone only accounts for less than 1% of the cellphones out there I don't know how it could "kill" anything.

    Craigslist and Yahoo Answers are good places to get high quality traffic, but you must provide value and genuine information in your posts or else they will be immediately deleted.

    Theres ways to do that. The best categories are the services categories and I have sometimes made up to $1000 in just one day.

    Craigslist is the best

    the key is traffic. Have you considered generic search engine traffic. I read here people criticize scripts such as traffic eq,.. but If used right (nice template, add-on rss,..: GIVE VALUE to visitor), they work well. I have a lot of sites ranking well in google for about a year now (adsense team knows at least one as they helped me with some issues on it). You will not be banned if you give value-even if you do it in great number. Most of all those adsense/affiliate top earners market that way.
