Sounds like spam to me. I wouldn't recommend trying it.

You've been around DP for over 1000 posts, and you don't know yet that what they are doing is spam?

Email marketing is a great tool...maybe the best...BUT, to your own opt in list. Don't play the spam game.

If you don't know what an opt in list is, it is a list of email addresses that have given YOU permission to send them emails.

In a nut shell this is how this works.

Join aweber or get response. these are autoresponder programs. then build a page (or several) that have your lead capture box on it. the lead capture box is a script you get from aweber or get response.

Give away a feww report to your visitors when they opt in to your list. you can see an example of what I'm talking about here.
    http://www.e-bookdepository.com/traffic/index.html

when someone opts into your list the autoresponder messages start going out automatically so you don't need an email program to run from your desktop or anything.

this method does not violate the CANN-Spam laws because the customer opts in to recieve information from you and there is a "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email.

    hope that helps a little,
    Aaron

Search google for email address finder, email harvestor, email extractor etc. There are plenty of collector programs out there. However sending the emails is where you might run into some problems. First of all sending straight through your computer either will not work (your ISP has there port 25 blocked), you will have to use your ISP's mail server in which they will shut you down for spam. If you use your websites mail server then you will more then likely lose your web host. If you use proxies...well just don't use them. What you are looking to do is a form of bulk email, however since your list is not opted in, you are just straight spamming them.

One of the quickest methods I've used to build my optin list into the thousands of subscribers was to set up a cross promotion. I contacted several other people in my niche who were willing to promote a giveaway event that lasted a week. Every partner promoted a single webpage for the event. Visitors would have to input their email into the subscriber form to get the gifts.

I use Aweber as my autoresponder. That's the only program you need to do email marketing. There are also autoresponders that you can buy as a script and set them up on your site but you would have a problem moving your list to services later on when your list grows.

They would require your subscribers to opt in to your list again.

I'm not a big fan of email marketing, mainly due to the amount of rubbish i receive but secondly, with today's spam filters getting better at detecting this type of content, most of it gets binned before it gets read anyway.

    Hi

First, it’s unethical way, it’s spam. Second, people don’t buy from a stranger; They buy from someone they know and trust.

Use legal ways to build your list. Build relationship with your subscribers. Help them to solve problems or do things more effectively and they will rearward you!

    To your success

Definitely true. Besides, spam is annoying that I usually trash the email before I even read them. If there are a lot of people like me, I don't think that concept really work.
