    I have never heard that..

    However I have heard that you are as tall as you are wide when you have your arms fully extended horizontaly (from fingertip to fingertip)

    EDIT!!! I just tried the fingertip to fingertip and it's right.. or at least for me..

    I just measured using my shoe and the distance from my wrist to my elbow is a little bit bigger.

    I've heard of this quite often and I think it's general measure and doesn't have to be exact.

    Yes, I've heard of this too, and it's pretty much right in most cases... I recon.

    Others similar to these are;
    • The circle made with your thumb and middle finger is about the size of your wrist.
    • The circle made with your hands using thumbs and forefingers is about the size of your neck.

    :D

    i dont think its true. ..I think it depends on the hieght-weight or body ratio as a whole .
    for example , a person with a leg defect say , may not have these distances as equal ;)
    hmmm . .. it might be true for a normal guy .

    I think it's a trick to see who is going to try and put their foot on their arm...lol

    EDIT: I mean I know it can be done, just think it's funny to imagine all of the DPers who are trying it!

    Whoa, my feet are big (you know what they say to men with big feet eh?... :p) but there's no way that they fit between my wrist and elbow, I'll check it out at school today (don't have a ruler lol) :)
