first of all let me tell you that i'm not an seo expert or anything.. i just found something working, finally! and i'm so excited!

my website is officially:

#7 on Google out of 192,000,000 results for the keyword : stuff to download
#6 on Google out of 95,900,000 results for the keyword : download stuff

aaaannnndddd....

#1 on Google out of 18,300,000 results for the keyword : hot stuff download

now.. should i tell you how it happened or not?!..

well.. to be honest, normally, i wouldn't tell anybody and keep it to myself if i found something really working. the last thing i want is more competition like there is

not enough, with almost 10 billion sites on google!

but.. the nature of this thing requires me to tell it to people if i want to rank for more keywords. so here is the story:

it was a beautiful thursday evening.. everything started when i got this e-mail on the 21st of June..

ok ok.. i'll keep it short.. you can read the details on the website. all i'm going to tell you is this:

i signed up that day as a beta tester, with a domain that has no content at all on it, uploaded a 1kb file and VOILA! i'm on the FIRST page of GOOGLE already,

in just 3 WEEKS, for ALL three of my keywords and with only 85 incoming links yet...

i still can't believe it and i get more excited when i think about the possibilities!

soo.. enough talk! actually my rankings speak for themselves..

it doesn't matter how many results are there. There's not much competition on that exact keyphrase because there are only a few or none ( as yahoo shows ) searches for it

This may be true - but it could help people figure out something basic that they have overlooked (or over optimized) and consequently been penalized for etc.

yep! nothing at all.. that's what makes it more fun..
i'm just too lazy to create content specially when i don't know if it will work or not..
but with this motivation i'll start creating some good content on my sites. there is no point on being on the first page if you can't keep the people on your site and monetize it..

it's true that there are not many searches for the keywors. that's why i changed them...

regarding the competition, if;

50,600 for the exact phrase "stuff to download"
271,000 for the exact phrase "download stuff"
1,500 for the exact phrase "hot stuff download" on Google,

specially when it is generally advised by the "gurus" to target the phrases with less than 5,000 competition, is "not much competition" for you, then i have nothing to say..
