Anyone here knows about Linkshare?

Does anyone at DP knows about Linkshare.com. I don't know whether they are as reliable as CJ, Amazon, CB, Chitika. So need you guys opinions.

 

From what I have seen and read Linkshare has a good reputation for being reliable.

 

I use them pretty frequently and they are pretty good. I can't really say anything bad about them and they have a ton of advertisers as well. I have heard the same from others as well. And they pay on time.

 

I too use linkshare. I only use one of their affiliates, so I only make a few dollars a month. They still send me a check every month regardless though. One check was for 59 cents I believe, thought it was hillarious.

 

What? I thought their minimum payout was like 50.00 ?

 

Yes i can vouch for linkshare i use a few of their programs. and as others stated i get a check every month no matter the amount sometimes .XX other XXXXX.XX but they are reliable and do pay they are setup similar to CJ.

 

Linkshare is a good network and has some of the large merchants listed there including Walmart.

 

Linkshare is an excellent network. They have also made some positive changes recently which will help affiliates more. Currently, I have them 2nd to CJ.

 

I use Linkshare to sell tracks from itunes.

Had no problems with them at all, only make 5 cents a track though!

 

Thank guys for all the replies. I'm kind of new to them - so a little skeptical about their services and products. Looking at the number of the responses received - I believe it's not a popular affiliate site - at least among DP members.

Anyone knows about somebody who did exceptional well with LinkShare.com? Please share with us here.

 

There really only are two major affiliate programs handling all the big busineses affiliate programs. Companies like WalMart, BestBuy, Circuit City, Sear and others are either using one or the other.

I use them as well as CJ... it's just a matter of selecting the programs from each that best match your content.

 

They pay on time. I think that's the most important aspect any affiliate looks for. ;-)

 

Hi. You can set the minimum payout threshold. Click "Update Profile" and then select the channel you use, there's "Payment Threshold" field that you can fill in near the bottom of the page.

 

Been using Linkshare on one site over a year - they are ok. The payout has been weird, and people complain. There is no set period between what you earn in a month and when you get paid ... because of possible returns to the merchants (leading to deductions) and merchants paying on their own schedule, you won't get a check corresponding to the month of June, or Quarter 2 (unless they changed recently).

I have gotten 2 checks within a week, and have gone over well a month between checks. Some checks for strange small amounts - one for $12.xx recently.

But other than that, no complaints.

 

if your in canada they are terrible. i joined to get the itunes affiliate and they didnt offer it in canada.
