Wooohooo.. Me Buying a New PC Soon ;)

    Hey guys & gals out there
    just want to share this moment of joy with my fellow DP members ;)

    Its a Custom PC

    Specs :

    AMD Athlon x64 X2 Dual-Core 3600+

    2 GiB DDR2 RAM

    500 GiB SATA HDD

    ATi Radeon Graphic card (donno what the number is I think 7200 may be)

    Yea thats it I guess :p

    Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor etc.. etc..

    whats so special about it :rolleyes: ?
    am buying the PC with my own money ;)

    Let me know what u think bout da spec
    can they be improved ?
    I basically need a PC for Gaming and something purpose (like Designing)

    i recommend the intel core2duo E6600. its a lot better. and the graphic card - geforce 8600.

    @ Sunilverma - You are the 3rd person who is recommending me to buy Intel Core2Duo, rest everyone suggested me AMD

    core2duos are the best in the market and the e6600 is the best VFM cpu out there and it performs way better than the amds. check out a few reviews.

    Amd is cheap, go for intel only if you got the money.
    BTW why to go for a PC :| when the time of going for lappies.

    Yea I can afford Laptop buy I need a PC for Gaming :p laptops aren't good for gaming :(

    Damn this AMD vs Intel wars ! now I gotta re think over this

    I suggest Intel just because they are costly and people select AMD for cheap products :D
    Why aren't laptops good for gaming? just get a big screen lappy with high config like mine ;) and add big speakers, gaming modules etc and woohoo enjoy the fun!

    Actually I'm a Hardcore Gamer :p
    I play lot of FPS Games DOTA, CS also Farcry etc.. etc..
    now I dont think I'll be comfortable playing on Laptop as I'm on Desktops :p

    Yea just had a chat with Sunil Varma
    I think I gotta change to Intel Core 2 Duo

    yeah .. you are going right.. haha , you should get core2duo like i have.. Its simply awesome. though i havent used AMD , I would recommend core2duo.. all the best

    If you are a hard coregamer and looking forward to play UT2007, go for C2D E6600 with Geforce 8 series (With SLI).
    And make sure you get SATA2 HDD.
    (Consider getting 4 GB RAM, take the word from another hardcore Gamer ;))

    laptops defo have the hardcore gaming ability!!

    i got a core2duo 2ghz intel, 2 gigs of ram, 200gb hard drive, 512mb video memory, works perfectly!!!
