    Hi Guys!

I really need some help here. One of my sites that is about 7 months old and a PR2 has 90% of its pages in the supplemental results. The content is unique, however later i realized a mistake I made by leaving the Page Tittle the same as well as the Meta Tag Description.

About a week ago I spent my whole weekend changing the tittles and descriptions but so far no results. I updated the sitemap on Google but it seems that the Google Index hasn't changed yet.

    Any help?

Bulding links amongts my pages within my site will help to reduce the amount of pages in the supplemental results?

    Thanks:confused:

I got mine out of the supps by giving unique titles and descriptions to each page. Some would argue you need more backlinks, but my site was 99% in supps for 5+ months, then I did what I did, and two weeks later I was in like flynn. This should work for you too, assuming you already have good backlinks to begin with.

More deep links and better site navigation will get you started.

I think it means getting backlinks from other sites to pages deeper in you site rather than just getting links to your homepage etc

when you have a duplicate content, that means your page is in supplemental results

Definitely have unique titles for each page. Also ensure that the readable text to code ratio is above 15% Do you use CSS, this is important in removing code that shouldn't be included in the page. Also, this is very significant, ensure that javascript stuff is placed in an external file, I did this on one of my sites and it had an immediate impact! You may want to run a report against your page, click on the link below if nyou feel inclined but definitely remove the javascript stuff!!!!

Actually I use Microsoft Expression Web to design my pages and i use lots of tables. I read somewhere that tables are bad for your site. Well, if this is true I guess i am gonna have to live with that because I am NOT familiar with CSS and PHP.

I checked today the site, and all the pages that are in the supplemental index in Google have the same meta tag. The description is all the same. When i was building the site i thought it wouldn't make any difference and i was too lazy to change it on each page.

Well... i updated all the sites and now i am waiting for google to review it and re-index them...

I will keep you guys posted with the results...

    Thanks again!!!

the main criteria for the supplemental results is page rank.

it's better to have so much backlinks to avoid from supplemental pages

Now just completed two weeks since I did a major change in Tittles and Meta Tags, although Google bot visted my site, the old titles still showing on googles results and all the pages still in the supplemental results. I wonder if those pages will ever get out of it...
