Evening folks, It is 2 weeks before my most recent blog turns 3 months old. I have been gathering data with analytics, and this is what it looks like:

    since June 28:
    Total PageViews: 341,729
    Total Visits: 85,150
    Visitors: 30,761
    Sources:
    • SE: 40%
    • Ref Sites: 35%
    • Direct: 24%
    • Other: 0.16%

Now, what I think is high, is the average time on site, which is 10 minutes 16 seconds.

ATM, the daily stats keep rising, now its about 5-6,000 pageviews, 1500 visits and almost 1,000 visitors.

My search engine source is slowly rising, now its at about 43%. And Alexa avg. of under 40k

I have not spend any money at all on marketing, promotion or anything like that.

The site is a niche (cartoon fansite) blog.

What would be my best way to market the site? I have adsense running, but it does not go higher than $6/day, usually like $3-4 (1% CTR). YPN, PPP and that sort are not an option (site is in spanish) What else can I do?

How do I go about advertising the site? I have a very tight budget, since my earnings are all I can spend.

    here si the url:
    Any ad placement suggestions?
Between post ads are not really a good option, since people don't read past the first post and then jump into one of the pages.

    Thanks in advance

Ad placement is okay. You can probably get away with another ad unit if you blend it in with your right menu :)

You shouldn't be worried about that, just concentrate on getting them to click on the ads

yeah, but if they don't read then they wouldn't see the ads, so that would just raise the number of impressions and lower my CTR

well, time on site has been raised, by about 50%, now its averaging at 15 minutes per visit. Is there a way to capitalize on this? what si the best way to take advantage of long periods of time on the site?
