When does PR update?

    When does the ranking update?

    I only started working on backlinking a few weeks ago so I am still PR0 so would like to know when I'll start going up:)

    Well it is usually every 3 months, A safe bet would be 28 of july, since it is exactly 3 months after the previous. However, no one really knows.

    Any link from a page that has PR will count if they are direct links to your site and they don't use "nofollow". PR updates quarterly but it is not exact to the day. You can expect an update approximately every 3 months. The next update is due for the end of July or beginning of August.

    I have about 50 links on a PR5 and 50 on a PR6, 3 on a PR 8 and 400 between PR3 and PR6.

    Yes I read the link but skipped the maths bit:eek:

    Don't be obsesed with it

    PR not = traffic

    Concentrate on rankings

    You know what I really want to know? How often does this thread get updated? It seems like never. New user posting the question, same old content. Well I guess it leaves opportunity for others to post the same old answers.

    Google PR update actually happen every 3 months.
    So possibly next update will happen in next 2 weeks or so..

    Yes we usually see it near the 28th or the 6th in terms of not only PR but overall largest shift in all SEO activity measured in terms of overall change. We base this on a list of 15 keywords on 5 engines.
