Which presidential candidate hopeful do you support?

I am for Barack Obama. I think he is what our country needs. He can give us hope in these hard times where something has to be done to help our country, he is refreshing, and seems to be the least corrupt.

    Who is your presidential hopeful?

    Thank you for your responses!

    It doesn't matter really...

Whomever wins the democratic nomination will be president.

The republicans best chance at a well rounded candidate that would stand a chance against a democratic candidate in a nation with conservative fatigue is Rommney. But he'll never win the nomination because he's not right wing enough.

    Hence, game over.

Don't give the republicans so little credit. Bush won the second election which stunned me!

I am still undecided, but I do know that I will not vote for hilary just because I don't really care for her too much. I am registered as a republican, but at times I have voted for democrats. Usually, I just like to vote for whoever I think is best, regardless of party. I am leaning towards Rudy Giuliani simply because he is the least conservative republican, but I need to learn more about the others before I can really decide.

It's not really rocket science though. Here, easy math for you...

The only republican that will the nomination will be one that supports the war in some fashion and claims he is the candidate that will "protect us" by being proactive and going after the terrorists where they live. (NOTE: problem with that is they live everywhere. In every single country. So that's a pretty ridiculous notion)

    +

National support for the war has been in steady decline for YEARS. By 08' it'll be worse.

    =

    Democratic win.

I think that is too simplistic to say...
    republican=Vote for war
    democrat=Vote for no war
I don't quite agree with you, I like to look at all the angles and issues...agonize over it for days...analyze it to death...
Then finally come to a conclusion:)

Actually, I can't think of a Democrat I trust, except maybe Joe Lieberman.

And I can probably count on one hand (or less) the leading Republicans I trust.

Washington has an immensely powerful corrupting influence on politicians. Very, very few of them escape the downward pull of D.C. corruption.

You missed the point.... the republican nominee will be a pro-war nominee.

It may be that way for you, but most voters already know what they want or have already been told what they want by either the conservative or the liberal media.

    Romney
    Thompson
    Guiliani

A Republican nominee will be pro-National Security.

I like Duncan Hunter too, but he's way down there. Never seems to get much air time on the debates. Not as low as last place...Ron Paul (can't help but laugh!). Thompson is looking really good.

Same as above, no democrat I would trust with the safety of our country. They "just don't get it." Some day, maybe democrats will be as tough on national security issues, but right now, they clearly are demonstrating it's of little or no concern.

Oddly enough, the democrats (controlling Congress) have a lower approval rating than Bush. I find that rather interesting :)

Wanna think on something really ironic?

Their approval rating is lower because people are mad at them for not getting rid of Bush.

So their approval rating is so low because though Bush is hated they hate them more for not pigeon holing him so he can't do any more damage like they were elected to do.

We can see how good "those Republicans you trust" have done GTech, they have bankrupted America, destroyed trust of America worldwide, the American people hate them, political analysts have said the Republican party is doomed, Putin is the most powerful man in the world and Cheney's greed and corruption has made Iran and Russia filthy rich with their "war for oil".

We all can trust you and the people you support and promote for sure !!!

Obama is the best person for the job at this point folks, get out there and vote for him.

I am opposed to elections, but if I had to vote it'd be Ron Paul. Obama is a socialist, I'd hate to see him winning. His push for involuntary medical insurance will cost me money :(

Guiliani: Pro-abortion + pro-gay-rights, and accused of "horrible adultery"...

He even supports partial birth abortion:
Other then that Iraq war stance, he doesn't even seem like a republican.

He's a Christian; though his grandfather was Muslim...

If you have any proof that he's a Muslim, please post it.

I'm guessing you have no proof, and just posted that because you're a conservative scared at the possibility our next president will be black and will do a better job then the current president... (assumption, but in my opinion, the next president can't do worse)
