What is MyNoteWall?
MyNoteWall is a site that helps you keep organized. Register with us and get your own area called your "Note Wall" where you can add actual notes on things that you have to do. You can stick a note up about anything, whether it be a plan to go to a gig, or to do client work, the possibilities are endless. The site has loads of features.

The entire site is unique, and custom, along with the script that was custom coded by a good friend of mine who has worked extremely hard at it. The design was made by myself.

This site has a lot of new features, and I've never seen an idea like this before. It gives people a way of organizing themselves in a totally unique and dynamic way.

I've setup this auction to give me an idea of how much it is worth in the eyes of DP members, and if the price is right, I will consider selling

There's a lot of potential with monetizing this as I have setup a small "Premium" sign-up system which isn't automated at the moment, but I'm sure with a small amount of work you can make it into an automated system.

The site also comes with a small admin area where you can change the status of members between Free and Premium etc.

look like he's just actually trying to promote his site and not intend to sell it.
I've tested it out and seem there's nothing much beside creating note.

If you look a little deeper into the subtles of the site, such as being able to arrange them according to importance, having a recycle bin to restore deleted notes, and all the features like this, saying that it's just for "making notes" doesn't do it justice.

 

It is a lovely site, very clean looking.

I would bid $150 but it doesnt really have a lot of stuff in it. Just a note wall. If you could maybe add a forum or social community you would get a lot more interest. Just my 2 cents.

 

At the moment it isn't worth very much no offense but really your asking for $800 on namepros, that is rediculus, sure it took you time to make it, but no revenue and tiny traffic, no one will be it for even close.

 

I think the negative feedback here is somewhat harsh. The site is attractive and does what he says, which is "make notes".

Certainly the idea has potential to be more fully realized. Someone else could take it to that next level and do well.

So people actually buy for design *at least for me*, coz you have already show out the idea to people and i'm sure the programming part, most of us can do it.

Well, if you feel that then doesn't mean it's true. A site has no revenue, but for example, has A LOT of unique, decent content is still worth a good amount - similiarly, a site with a good design, and good, useful, unique script could be worth the same amount - so I disagree with you there.

 

An interesting idea, but I must ask why would you start the bidding far below what you are expecting ($800)? Why not just put a BIN or a much higher starting bid?

 

Well, I was looking to see what kind of attention something like this would get, and see how much people would be willing to pay for it as I stated in the initial post I made.

 

do all notes show up under " most important tasks"? would be nicer if a different colored note came up for, urgent, very important, etc. I like the site but can not justify spending the amount you are looking for considering I could hire someone to create a similar site for a third of the price.

It does look very nice though, good job.
