    Hi
While trying to come up with a dope idea like The Million Dollar Home page, i was looking for inspiration then while i was searching similar websites, i found some very interesting offers that you may want to use for your own directory!

Here is a list of 7 of those websites ordered by Page rank:

    1) http://pixels.postnuke.com/ - Pr7 - $100
    2) http://www.geekculture.com/joyoftech/ - Pr6 - $100
    3) http://www.pixelsforcharity.co.za/ - Pr6 - $14
    4) http://www.pixelmyhouse.com/ - Pr5 - $10
    5) http://www.advertise-pix.com/ - Pr5 - $5
    6) Deleted because of a security issue.
    7) http://www.aaronshear.com/pixe- Pr5 - $20

    Cheeeers
    Mario

Great Idea! Thanks for sharing it. That's what I love about DP, members sharing what they find.

The problem is these kinds of links amount to having a PR1 link (or less) when you take into consideration the volume of outgoing links. That's the nature of the pagerank system. Those peeps at Google are smart.

i agree, but for pr6+ links you still get some good juice, there is many software pages that get a pr7 because of a backlink from w3.org , even if some pages contain more than 130 outbound links.

I like the list as well as the info you have been providing so far. The only problem is that those links may be devalued now. Lets not forget that there are some google spys that hang out here and I am sure they just love it when we tell which sites are selling links, it makes their job to easy.

Just food for thought. But another great post.

I know that this was not your intention, but my virus protection blocked a Trojan-horse virus when I clicked millionpixelbooty.com

Don't enter the booty unless you are wearing strong protection.:p

    Other links no problem.

Unfortunately, yes, I clicked it 3 times just to make sure. It is "Trojan-Downloader.JS.Psyme.hz virus"
Also, unfortunately, if you didn't detect it, you probably got it.
Each time, I cleaned/disinfected and deleted the trojan...no harm done, you obviously didn't know.:)

image links are not different than text links and still count in the calculation of pagerank, they dont have the "anchor text" SEO value, but for pagerank its the same thing, pixel ads are just image links. infact i know a pr7 pixel page that is passing pr6 to all the websites listed there, too bad i cant share it because its not my idea it belong to another Digitalpoint member, i hope Dp members "login" or "bokevoll" will see this thread to confirm :)

    cheers.

The problem is not with text/image link.

Its because there are 100s or 1000s of links are placed on the same page.
So the PR juice is divided among them and gets nothing. ;)

So always check "total number of outbound links on a page" before buying any link.

i agree with this point, but for high pr pages like pr7, pr8 and pr9 the juice is still good even with 100+ outbound links, i remember that once, i saw a pr9 page from w3.org passing pr8's pr7's and pr6's to 100+ software domains all listed in the same page.
