Okay so i have a quick question, does the relevance of a domain (digitalpoint) affect the domain (.com, .net) what i mean is say i have a domain that is AmericanLife.com would it be better to be AmericanLife.us? I mean the domain does have the name in it and all and it is directed at it so why not right? And if it is not as worthy than buy how much would you drop the domain value?? Thanks again.

What you are talking about actually is called TLD, there is some relevance in the TLD tho. You might learn more about domain name and TLD from the link provided.

As far as it regards the relevance, there could be a slight difference since .us would be ccTLD (country code top level domain) targeting the traffic from that country, while .com (apart that is it has more love from users) is more generic (.com TLD is mentioned to use for companies, but is used on wide).
