Osama Bounty Doubled To $50 Million

Washington, July 13: The US Senate today doubled the bounty on the Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden to $50 million dollars.

The award money would be given to any person for giving information leading to the dreaded terrorist's death or capture.

Putin is protecting him, he has made Trillions for Russia and Iran while America's citizens are bankrupted by wasted taxpayer funds, high oil prices, in addition, our armed forces are devastated by an ill advised and illegal war that has broken our army.

 

We spend $200B+ on the war. But dedicate only $50M to tips to find OBL.

IMO, raise the bounty to $1B.

 

I agree.. we might save a few bucks with a move like that.. problem is: I'd like to make sure the money didn't go to make Bin Laden a martyr and further finance the terrorist network. That said, I'm not thinking Bin Laden is in Iraq so... what was it we were doing there again? Sadly, we're so entrenched now, leaving is a lose-lose situation even if we wanted to. I would have felt better seeing a buncha WMDs.. at least then I might be able to justify our involvement a bit.

You might want to check your facts on this one. Both Cheney and Bush's tax returns are a matter of public record. Looking at Bush's and Cheney's tax returns combined for the last 4 years does not even come close to the taxable amount the Clinton's declared.
