paypals surcharge is pretty hefty, though i think thats how they pay the credit card companies their share, plus their own profits, 2 way split
I'm getting around the current exchange rate by just trying to trade only in Paypal, and only in Dollars - I live in the UK so by the time I've paid paypal fees and had money converted I get next to nothing, or so it feels. I hope the dollar gets stronger again soon...
I know how you feel, we have to pay double the fees! Fees after fees.. and now the conversion rate won't even "help" just a bit..
Wow.. you guys are having more of an impact. It's just fluctuating in the 0.001 here.. but that's still a difference.
if it keeps dropping like this...the US will be a 3rd world country and meanwhile China becomes the Richest country in the world since most companies are moving there
lol that's a bit extreme then us Canadians would go shopping solely in the states for awesome discounts
Exhibit A I've been tracking it for 2-3 weeks and recording info on Excel. As you can see on Exhibit A, it's going down quickly. I think I'm going to go over to ThinkGeek and spend some of it. Anyone got any better ideas?
Other way around, we get less AUD for our USD now. It is going down, so the value of the USD stacks up low for us. It was good three weeks ago, but no more Let's hope it goes back up!
Its extremely crazy, Honestly I cannot believe our CDN dollar is doing so well. It sucks because most of us Canadians "used" to do business in USD online at least. Maybe the only feesable and economical way to go about this is to only accept payments in Canadian funds??
Wow!!!! Look at the major dip since yesterday: 1.00 USD = 1.04257 CAD I am sooo glad I converted a couple K yesterday
1 U.S. dollar = 1.1591515 Australian dollars I remember when it use to = 1.30 not long ago! 1 Australian dollar = 0.8627 U.S. dollars And I remember when it use to be around .60 not long ago!
