This is damn interesting... dont think im going to try it at the moment but sounds pretty neat.

I would like to hear what the adsense team says.

But the most interesting thing is how the google people only share "low" clicks with publishers, and keep the "good" ones only for them.

Smart price is a stupid concept for ppc. Pay Per Click, NOT Pay Per Action.

Thanks for the great info again leet, some green sent.

Same thing has been told tons of times. Show me one person got banned because of this, if you can't no need to discuss the ban possibility even.

You 2 obviously didn't get the point nor read the thread completely. They won't know whose account it is while you're going with blank id, and they don't need to know anyway because you won't be earning anything in that period. When you see high paying ads being shown, you just put your pub id back again, and get the benefit. I've explained this a dozen times now.

It works on text link ads. You can notice, or if you can't, simply wait for 3-4 days to put your pub id back.

How long does it averagely last? (earning start going down)
I look at your reply and it said just put it back after Google Bot crawled your page. I can check it with google analytical correct?

This is just like the first day I put my adsense into my site. 4 clicks with less than 500 impress earned my 1.42 and now 30 clicks earned me like $1.77. I think this method is like refresh the adsense back to beginning..:p

    Thank for sharing man

better leave the code alone. if google detects, i think you get banned. you dont want that to happen, play safe.

Actually, google has banned people for removing their ads for a while. Its an automated process. It doesn't know that the ad unit has been removed and put back up. All it knows is that you went from hardly any clicks to tons more. To a computer, the numbers are suspicious.

this is so crazy - but I am wondering (not shooting it
down), who has actually CONTACTED google to see if this is
    wrong or not?

I love the idea, and am considering trying it, but I would
like to know if anyone has contacted Google to see if they
    like it or not.

Or are we too afraid of losing a good thing? haha...

    later.

first thank to leet for sharing.I don't have to try this to know it works because just setting up and moving around websites you can see the same pattern which shows g's mo.1) new site or adsence added in high ppc category2)first few clicks come in at$1.62 3)site owner:)wow could make real money4)several day later now clicks are 2 or 3 /day $@$1.22/click not bad total way up:):)4)google pushes you down the stairs:mad:.60/click now your getting 7 clicks/day.Only job where you do good and they cut your pay.in response to post about "everyone trying it" nah only a few ;3 reasons; cause scarred;2 greed after all you miss two days of clicks!and lazy.

    wrong.

there is nothing in the tos about removing adsense ad blocks

    wrong.

altering the adsense ad block is against the tos, if you read this thread you'll see links to the tos that prove that.

wrong again, as usual... just another post that can't be backed up with a url from google.

"Any AdSense code must be pasted directly into webpages without modification. AdSense participants are not allowed to alter any portion of the code or change the behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads. "

Just mail them saying you are under clickbombing attack and see what they will offer you to do, they will tell you to remove your pub id. By the way, share with us if you got anything better than this trick ;) Those who don't like it, should have something better I guess.

    not relevant.

this thread isn't about click bombing... how come you can't even keep your own thread on-topic?

many people in this thread have already told you that simply removing the ad block entirely will have the same effect as removing the pub i.d.

stop posting false info on this forum that could cause people to lose their adsense accounts.

Are you actually serious or are you trying to be funny? You're saying that leaving pub id blank will cause in a ban, and I'm telling you Google crew tells you to remove your pub id sometimes, which means it's not against TOS. Do you understand it now or should I explain it one more time?

No you smart(!) guy, it doesn't have the same effect. If you leave your pub id blank, Google will be off to showing high paying ads on your site as they will be getting total benefit of it since they won't be paying commission to anyone as there is no pub id to pay. In other way when you delete whole ad block, it won't have such an effect at all. This is my profession so don't teach me my own trick, got it? If you think it's false, just move on.
