That was a prediction made by an analyst that says, with Googles far higher investment than other search engines, it will only mean their share will increase. Currently, Googles share is around 50%.
This is beacuse of us. Why don't we search on another search engines and use their engine? They had a brilliant idea and I appeciate this. I remember that I was in colege when someone said type google.com to search what you need. If they know how to manage it in the future they will be far far away (and I see they improve it from a year to another).
I hear you i try to use yahoo more. only because google know to much anyway, they might even own yahoo search.
I believe it will, but yahoo, live search and other search engines aren't ready to throw in the towel yet. The are many loopholes from Google that can be utilize by other search engines, if only they realize, found and tweak it.
Think google pre you-tube and the likes... google is a billion dollar business, why would they even bother with you-tube etc...but they did. I think they will wipe the board across, take over yahoo and MSN and the likes will go under.
google have allready the 90% of the searches in many countries in europe. i only use yahoo to check my backlinks.g is the best search engine and it improves every single day the others just follow.you cant see that????
offcourse google has to maintain its position all over the world, i think yahoo is best to find out backlinks but google rocks in general search!
