Ok, I dream a little, but what if you get a link from such a page? I saw in a PR9 webpage some links and I follow those links. I was surprised to see a PR3 or PR4. Why is this? Any explanation?
Maybe the PR update hasn't occured yet. If you look at http://www.domainleft.com/how-your-pagerank-is-determined/ it shows you sheer strength of a single PR9 link.
I think this table is not accurate in terms of PR rankings.... Google PR rankings is computation only the Google knows... The number of backlinks is not the standard what PR you will receive on the next PR update..
A PR9 i got to one site sent it to PR7 the following update with very few other backlinks. The SERPs also jumped quite alot. However if the page has 100 odd links the benefits will be reduced alot.
Nice graph i'm gonna look for 4 PR6 links I wanna PR5 but I know I wont get it this update so I will wait until the last month of the next update.
However this is what I came up after some research including a huge article I read by a co-founder of google (can't remember his name atm) but as sweetfunny said its fairly accurate. We can't judge a theory on one case but it shows there can be some truth in it. Google won't unveil the acctual PR formula, although using a wide range of data its possible to work out an estimated one
Just noticed a few of the better directories here have a pr9 link on the same page That'll get them pr7 (if there not already) < maybee But i would never base your hopes on that pr table. (there just guess work)
