Where do you get that tracker and can it be used to track any webserver hosts?

I would like the snippet of that.. could use it to monitor all this hot air escaping in the webhost world..

This is what happens when you buy from people who's entire customer base comes from them posting on forums. It's always a one man operation that will be lucky to live past a year. But people seem to keep going to them even when their site is constantly down or they do not even have a site some times. Then the people come to forums complaining wondering why their dirt cheap hosting from some random guy on a forum is no longer working.

A year huh? Well I've not seen one hardly live past 2 months. I just paid my second monthly bill two days ago for this BS..

I guess some of us like to pay for misery.

Just need a fucking server that works is all.. Is that too much to ask? Are my expectations a little out of wack? Just a simple little webspace to run a small little website or two. Hell, my internet connection to my ISP has been up for three years strait, Why is it so fucking difficult to keep a webserver connected to the Internet?

Well you need to do some research. If they have no web site at all don't use them. Check for reviews on WebHostingTalk. Don't buy into the unlimited/unmetered or the insanely high resources. Also don't look at buying accounts that are life time or even accounts that sell at $1/month (probably half of that ends up going to the gateway so how in the earth can this be sustained?). I think I've covered quite a few things that will make when you do find a host it may actually last.

There are reliable hosts out there I can toot my own horn say Hawk Host is reliable but I can also say a host like Host Gator, Dreamhost ect. are also big company's that aren't going to go away.

To get your money back if you paid via Paypal I'd try disputing the payment. If you paid via credit card just ask your bank to do a charge back. Other gateways I'm not so sure.

 

Okay, I agree with you here man and these points are part of the reason why I used this host.. Point one, it had a web site that I used to sign up! Point two, my plan specifically layed out the space and BW limitations. Point three, I would not buy life time hosting from any of these jackasses if my own life depended on it! Point three, I paid more than $1/month for my plan on this host! I had already tried the one dollar bit and saw what it is all about..

I hope that host is not dead quite yet! At least not until I can recover my files from the darn thing!

Wasn't this dude selling some lifetime bundles too? Sure glad I did not fall for that line of horse shit!

Yes he was selling lifetime accounts and now we know that he meant this by saying lifetime.

 

My two sites are down as well - and were for most of yesterday. I stupidly paid for a year resellers account ($12). No response from Nickcmp? Whats going on? Will you be offering refunds, or are you planning on getting the sites up any time soon?

I have one Website with Nick ! It's still Up but it only show Cpanel page not my site !

Any ideas or help ?

 

That cPanel® and WHM™ page is usually what you will see if your domain name is not yet propagated, or there are no website files (default index files) in your server root!

That is surprising you can still pull up even that page. Maybe you have a different IP from me.. are you using a regular URL name or an IP number to pull up the cPanel page?

Well to me its going fine so far. I just recently bought the hosting from him.

Dont know about the others just have a reseller account with him and all the things are going fine.

Dont know about the future.

 

Your site working because it just come online again but it was down all day so do not accept good performance from this hosting.I`m sorry to say the truth.
