    Good luck...

    Ive been searching trying to find a decent person at "design section" to make me some banners and logos
    and they dont even reply back or wait a week to reply...

    Im glad that most dont own any directories..
    as im sure id be waiting for months :)

    Hmm not one answer :p

    Best way is to look at designs of different directories and then make a selection of best designs as per 'your' perception and find out who designed it ;)

    There was a thread in BST section where someone was offering banner design and logo design services for $5. I'll have to search for it, but the designs were excellent.
