Dave has a great directory there-- no doubt about that. He has the highest PR.
But I think Dave would himself agree --with me that he still has some way to go to match these two authority directories (I have been following his link-building strategy and I am very happy, he just need some more time to catch up )

because Dave is from UK and Amit is from India and this thread is about UK based directories.

I was referring/comparing Dave's directory with those two UK Authority Directories -.

I have been following Biz-Dir for quite some time now and am very impressed with Dave's link-building ( I wish I had a deep pocket like him) --

His Biz-Dir is right on track for getting authority status --but according to my very own analysis -- Google takes domain age into count while according Authority Status to a site besides inbound links.

Biz-Dir is still quite new --but if Dave builds links just like he is doing now --his directory might be the next Authority Directory.

Isn't that what you are looking for Dave?--PR is important--but to me Authority Status is more important--well Dave's link-building suggest he has some common thinking with me. But Dave needs to be a little careful with whom to link from now on to hasten the process.

I was talking all about Authority sites --not normal directories like mine.

 

busines-directory-uk.co.uk are crooks, they take reciprocal links and never list anyone, they suck big time. Here's a little peach for use:

I have tested it and it definitely has link value, $2.99, the directory needs working on and I have emailed him and told him to do some marketing and get a custom design. It used to be some community site or something and it is Dmoz listed, I tried to buy it but he wanted a grand, the name put me off.
