I am based in Australia and whenever I type in google.com, i am redirected to google.com.au. is there a american google site? like there is for canada (google.ca) or UK (google.co.uk)? I am just interested to see the adwords ads that run there. Is there perhaps a tool that would allow me to do that
even if you click on go to google.com on the main page, the adwords results seem to be mainly local. adwords ads change so much, its hard to tell
with your plugin the results of CA search are quite differnt from what google.ca shows can you explain that. even the organic side of the search is different
Do you have personalization turned on/off? When you look at google.ca does the results show personalized results? There is also the factor that physical geo location is taken into account.
The Fastest solution is to use a Proxy, then you will see the american results.. thats what i do when i want to see the adwords ads. go to www.proxy.org, use a US proxy from the list and go to google.com. cheers.
Actually I disagree. This involves doing a search, copying the search URL, typing in the proxy url, going to the proxy, pasting in the search result URL The plugin steps are: Doing a search, right click, select "US".

Then click OK. - Click Here to install the SEO for Firefox extension. - Click the Install Now button. - The plugin will not become active until you restart Firefox. - Doing a search - right click select "US" Also more than 85% of the internet Users are using Internet explorer, the plugin will only work for firefox users.
Then you are at the mercy of the speed of the proxy. The poster was also looking for a tool. With a proxy you only get one country. That's assuming the proxy is even based in the US. What do you do when you want results from other countries?
Dude you are trying so HARD to promote this plugin. (that's cool) but... 1) No need for speed to do a google search and see ADWORD results even on a 56k Modem the results are INSTANT. 2) The OP Wanted to see US results and i showed him how to do it, in Proxy.org there is also French, UK AND canada proxies that he can use if he wants to see ads appearing on other countries.. Good luck with this plugin.. its nice and i have nothing against it.
From the OP "Is there perhaps a tool that would allow me to do that". He wants to search different countries. Once the plugin is installed it doesn't have to have the install steps. Arguing over the amount of steps it takes is silly. His question has been answered.
About "Silly", You are the one who started arguin about the Amount of Steps , and how do you know he is using firefox ? + a tool can be anything, a website or a software or a plugin who cares?

it looks like the results using proxy.org are slightly different. Adwords shows more ads. guys i am not after organic results in my searches. I am after adwords results. The problem is that if i just use google.com i get a lot of australian ads as well and it is hard to believe that they are displayed on american google. with plugin and via proxy.org i am able to see only .com (no australian) adwords ads. which is good (exactly what i am after). however proxy.org shows more adwords ads (few pages) by the way the term that i am searching is migraine
