Hey everyone, I'm working on a new site where videos will be my main form of content and the reason for traffic to the site. I'm confident that the site will be successful money-wise with Adsense clicks and CJ affiliates but I'm wondering about something else... I'll have all these original videos up on my site, I feel like they could be doing more for me. Does a service exist where an advertisement clip is played at the beginning of videos and the publisher gets paid every time someone watches one? If this doesn't exist, maybe it should.
You can also use a service called "the newsroom" if you get the right amount of traffic. They have a variety of sources you can use to monetize with for video. and all of the video feeds are reputable. http://www.thenewsroom.com
I already use Newsroom in one of my high traffic sites, but the problem is that the videonews are not updating regularly. But it is a good service, i agree.
Valueclick Media also has it http://www.valueclickmedia.com/pub_video.shtml 1. In-stream In-stream video includes pre-roll and post-roll ads integrated within your existing video content. If you can be accepted and don't break the rule of VC number 8. Have more than two 468x60 banners per page, or an excessive amount of advertising in general, since you are using also adsense and CJ, it is for sure a good choice.
It seems that VCM doesn't seem to be getting much customers for this unless it is just a few accounts that don't seem to have any media in their video section.
