Hey guys a month back I sold my sig space for 3 people and at that time my post count was 200... Now its time and they're expiring and I need to revise the rates... Please suggest a good price I need to charge for my sig link...
In my opinion it depends on how many posts you are planning to post this month. It also depends on if you are helpful or just spamming the forums. But I would pay you $5 dollar for every link. But maybe I'm a bit greedy.
You can sell your link for $10 per month if you can guarantee a high post count per day for the month (15 etc.) else 100% money back. This is your current strongest point You can also refer to my latest eBook on how to maximize your signature profit.
The usual going rate is 1 post = 1 cent, so you can probably expect to get around $5 right now for one of your links. This is more of a general rule of thumb and there will be some differences depending on the number of posts per day, etc. You may also attract more interested people by having an auction for your sig link.
I say higher than 5, because of your high posts per day (12.33 posts per day), you can add a guarantee, like 200 posts in one month or something.
I could be naive..but why would anyone pay for a sig link ? If you like the way its worded (other than your e-mail address) just use them.
I know it's for the backlinks but does it really matter if you have 1 or 1000 backlinks on a single domain? Or is it just because someone isn't allowed to place more links in his signature?
it matters alot. Pagerank, search engine ranking, visitors, the more links you have, the better off your site is!
yeah $5 is not greedy at all...try to come up with a good package like it come swith the avatar, etc...
You might earn more than $5 if you just offer a service in your signature. I'm sure you'd get a request within 1 month
$18 is an inflated value. On how many posts do you have your signature displayed now ? Where do you post the most ? Reputation, Itrader, forum behaviour- you need to take all into account
Actually I have 12+ posts per day and most of them are in Buy and Trade Section... So more users who can buy some services.. Actually I get 3-4 PMs a week regarding the services offered in ms sig links... But those who really offer this service by buying links in my signature may get more than triple that sales..
Selling a sig can be good but you should check their posts. Because I would not want my URL associated someone who spams and makes weird comments, is rude to other members, and so on.
