    About time too GuyFromChicago - I know a lot of us have become slightly disillusioned with the way the rep system has been devalued by people either rep begging or making it a condition of their sale or freebie. This is a great new rule and I look forward to it being sternly enforced!

    I'll probably give infractions for those too. Same thing as asking for it IMO.

    The point isn't to devalue rep given in BST, it's to stop all the "[do something] and I'll give you rep" threads. I've actually downloaded a few things from the freebies section before and given the poster good rep because they deserved it, not because they asked for it.
