Is there any method to track a website visitor based on his system hardware ? (and not ip).

You would normally track them by session or alternatively by setting a cookie to track them which will work over different sessions

as a user can use different ip`s to visit a website so i thought tracking the hardware could be effective

I'd agree that cookies are your best bet. Easiest way to simply identify a single machine.
