Hello All: We have been hiring writers for many of our blogs over the last few weeks. Most of the writers we have hired have come from DP, but we were wondering what sources for writers do other people use or where do other writers congregate. We assume there are other forums or lists out there where writers go. Any feedback on the topic would be great to hear.
If you're looking for bloggers, I'd suggest placing an ad with ProBlogger (jobs.problogger.net). If you need Web content (articles, etc.) then you can try posting a request for quotes here at DP or even use Craigslist to post an ad. There's also a blog called Freelance Writing Jobs where you can e-mail the blog owner and have your request posted. The link is writersrow.com/deborahng/freelancewritingjobs.html. It starts out with WWW but I can't post live links yet. Hope this helps.
I just went to the Freelance Writing Jobs site and they've switched to Wordpress so the correct link is http://www.writersrow.com/deborahng/.
The other thing I do is scour the net for writers. If I see a particular writer on an article site whose style I like, I will email and ask if they write for payment.
I had some really good articles written from a writer at elance.com. You place your project details and allow people to bid on it, then you can choose the best writer based on your budget.
There are tons of writers on RolePlay Gateway, and probably the best method of finding good writers is to glance over the RPGateway RSS feed. From there, you can offer to hire individual authors by simply looking at their profile.
Most come from recommendations... If you need a professional writer you can click one on my Signature...
Very informative, will try tonight. I saw there, but your dark pink colour is burning my eye. anyway i havent find any price quotes there....
Thanks for checking the site out, nothing I can do there, owners request, pink-purple... Send her details and shell send back a quote... or you can make her an offer and shell reply...
wasabiventures, most if not all of the posts there are written by people who are dedicated to writing. You'll be able to sample their writing by reading fiction and other prose that they've written. Just have a glance at the RSS feed, and you'll see what I mean.
I think that we have all forgotten about the good writers that are members of DP. There are like at least 20/30 that can be rated as pros.
Guys, if you need more ghostwriters, you can go to CopywritingBasics101 Job Forum and post your job requirement.
don't know about other things but the girl on this site is really cute! http://copywritingbasics101.com/info/how-to-find-copywriting-assignments.html
