    Actually,
Buddha claimed that "brahma and other gods were demi gods", Other than that most of what is found in buddhism are hindu concepts
Oldest Hinduism concepts (hinduism passed through several stages of filteration), states every demi god has birth and death as opposed to the current thinking of hindus.

Limitless cycle of birth, death and rebirth is a hindu concept.

    God Rama and Krishna Said:
Karma is the root cause of suffering,

Death is the process where soul transforms into a new body (its like humans changing their old shirt with new shirt) and this process can be ended in several ways:
    1) Follow Dharma
    2) Do good deeds
    3) Take good care of parents
and various other ways - Lord Krishna

Even dharma changes according to surroundings:
    1) A person running from a war out of fear commits adharma
    2) A person telling lie to save an innocent man's life from a killer commits dharma

No one can escape Karma , Its the karma decides the body of a soul in the next life as per hinduism

for once we agree on something YAY :p

stay away unless you have mega bucks or spare time to work of the debt you'll be in withing a week.

when your weekly debt to Scientology is more than your monthly income, you'll soon understand what it's about.

i joined Scientology, and i was a member for 2 months. how would Sammie get caught up in a religion when she is so against them? because i was almost 18 and ever so gullible then.
i was walking down a road in London and seen a sign, "Free Personality Test". lets see what they say about me i thought. and sure enough i was taken into the back of the offices and in a small room. strange room it had Egg trays stuck all over the walls and on the back of the door.

i sit down and this lady is talking to me and tells me that the free test is a short test of 40 questions, and the long test is 200 questions but i have to pay if i want that one. but depending on the outcome of the short test i might get it free.

they have a machine there and 2 tin cans, a little like the small coke cans for 25p but 2 stuck on top of each other, like a slimfast drinks can. she talks to me about nice things like the seaside and countryside to relax me, and then asked me to hold the 2 cans, i said what is it a lie detector, "no no no it just measures your anxiety level so we can disregard the question if you are to nervous".

well i seen Oprah and the lie detector on her show and it looked like a heart machine, no tin cans, so ok, i trust her. at about question 15 she asked if i mind if someone came and sat in the room, she told me he is learning how to use the machine, so i said i dont mind, and she went to get some guy, and they whispered for a little so i didnt hear it, and then she started all over again.

after 5 questions, this guy played with the machine and i said i gotta go soon, and then they said it's ok, i can do it, they just thought the machine was broken.
after the test they both left the room with the paper and my scores and 15 minutes later they came back, and told me my personality, and it sounded good to me. and the guy kinda took over and said they would like to offer me the full test for free, not the £100 they normally charge.

well i asked what day and they said now, but i had to go, and they said they can only offer it me for free while they are slack, or i would have to wait or pay next time. "well anything for free right?" so i was asked to sign a paper, on the top page it said free full personality test, and on the next page it was small text about the test. so i signed it, "it was getting late"

i did the test and they invited me back the next day. and they showed me around, well i was asked if i wanna do another test but not the personality test so i said sure, and they asked me to sign a paper to say if i hurt myself they are not responsible.
in the end i owed them £3,000 and all i did was do work for them for free. and if i didnt come back, they would make me pay the £3,000, if i ~"blow" < there word for run away, they would find me and make me pay or hurt me
    no keep away from them

Sarathy, I am not debating the rightness or wrongness of anything. I respect your beliefs, although speaking only personally, I have and have had doubts on all of it. I am merely distinguishing the buddhist concept (which I practiced, as one who lived in a zen temple for a time) of salvation by effort in one's current lifetime, from the hindu concept of limitless reincarnation. I make no claim on whether buddhism has it right or wrong.

Samantha, i'm surprised you actually went through all this shit.
They are worthless morons, working for one of the biggest scams on earth.
They believe in evil aliens, and the whole story which was thought of by a science fiction writer (religion was made by a science fiction writer... jeez) who had quite a few problems with the law back in the day.
He was a smart man tho, this is how he made a lot of money - he even admitted it that "If you want to get rich, create a religion".
    Scientology is pathetic.
Watch the scientology episode of south park - it's hilarious.

Thanks for the polite reply., I just made a statement of the minor difference between Hinduism and buddhism :)
limitless reincarnation can be ended by practising dharma
By practising dharma, a soul can reach heaven. Heaven is temporary as per hinduism.
The enlightenment stage will be to realise when everything is a part of god and the end will be to merge with god ., To become god.,
    limitless reincarnation
The start for all this will be the question
    "Who Am I"
"Where was i before i was born, where will i be after i die"
