So long as you use the YouTube player, it's fine. It shouldn't matter what kind of content it is - it's ultimately up to YouTube to remove the video if it violates their ToS.

Yes, this is right and legal process. This is not a good idea to use YouTube without their player. Violating youtube TOS. better to use player + movie.

I think the only restriction you have is when the uploader of the content says you cannot embed the content. Apart from that you can embed the videos with their code. Occasionally when I have done this I have gone back at a later date and the video has no longer been available. But, when you embed any content thats a risk you always take.

yes, one can use the video at their website, but with YouTube Player only. you can copy the movie and post it to your website without youtube player.
They also need some NAME :).

If you can copy the movie and play it on your site with some other player, how would YouTube know or prove that the video is taken from their website? Ofcourse, I am not talking about videos that are only available at YouTube.

This is essentially what two of my scripts do. One is for those that want to run a site similar to Youtube while the other is for those that run content specific sites (celebrity sites, blogs, etc.) and want to place videos pertaining to a certain keyword on their website.
