Which business card design should I use? Which one looks more professional? Thanks! Or And a reason for the design you've selected. Thank you
I would go with the first one....even though I don't like black cards....BUT I would ONLY make the leaves green.
8everything, With all the respect, I think that your logo would worth to be redesigned. The green leaf could be more suggestive...
Of course the first one looks better, as it is colourful on both sides, but it depends on your budget. However, I think if you have a logo in colour on one side, it shall be no problem to be just B&W on the other... I haven't voted, as the cards are almost the same. It's your choice.
1st one, the colour ads expense to the card and therefore a suggestion of a well financed company. A hint of colour is great as it says you have gone to the expense of colour but in a classy way.
Really? If the card look expensive it's suggested that it's from a financial company? Budget is not a problem I found a really good offer that prints them locally. Only $100 for 1000 cards, both sides, full ink with gloss
No sorry, what I meant was it suggests that your company has a solid financial base. Remember, if you are meeting clients, its first impressions that count and your business card is one of the first things you may show a prospective client. I once outsourced a website design, there were 2 outstanding and almost identical bids with very little to chose from them out of the 4 bidders. In the end, the final decision was based on 'first impressions', one company had a quality business card and stationary, the other company didn't portray a quality image with its cards, stationary or the vehicle the man turned up in (a 10 year old camper van!!!) I will never know if I made the right choice, but the site was a great success and was completed on time and to budget.
Okay... The type of paper/ink is: 13PT stock/glossy Is this any good? I don't want it to be thin with cheap ink Thanks for the insight hopper This is very true and the type of direction I'd like to go when competing with other people
1. The shape of the leaf could be fine-tuned. 2. Using different gradients for each side of the leaf is not the best solution as they look like as they would be separate graphic elements.
Thank you for your input after looking at the logo design again, it does need to be fixed up a bit before printing. The use of gradient/bevel was a point..
The first one hands down The green contrasts really nice on the black The second one is a little boring
I just thought I'd add myself to the list of people who like the first one - small amounts of tasteful colour look very professional in my opinion. That is a great price for those cards by the way - they don't happen to post to the UK do they? All the printers round here are either poor quality, rip off merchants, or both
Thanks Not sure how much shipping is. However.. I have no idea what type of paper they're using ... what is 13pt stock gloss paper? I wouldn't mind paying double the price is it was off ahrd glossy paper (I've ordered some before from someone else and they were printed super soft paper!) If the card quality is really good, I'll reveal who they are
