i have 5000 links

I have 5000 incoming links from different websites in just 2 days . But it is not showing in any search engine. I wonder this does not take much time

 

yes, it takes time for them to be indexed. Also, be careful that you don't get penalized

 

The search engines will have to index all the pages that link to you before the links shows up, so it will be a while But as frankcow said, don't build links too quickly, Google doesn't like that.

 

how did u get so many incoming links ?
i mean, did u hire a professional to do so or what ?

1. Getting too much links in a short time could penalize your site (especially if these are low quality links).
2. It usually takes a few weeks before you can see changes in Google.

 

First of all Congrats for getting so many links and 2nd just wait for a few days becoz they will take some time to be index in all SE and after then u can check it.

 

Does that mean 2000 websites link up to your site? Does this increase traffic considerably? How can this be achieved if such is the case?

 

5000 links in 2 days? I'd be scared. Google is not keen on this type of link building for the most part.

 

5000 links is it sitewide? or across many websites

 

Google updates their backlinks around as often as visual PR.

 

And FYI: The SEs links: command for seeing how many links you have doesn't give an accurate figure, especially for Google. Not sure if you are using that or webmaster tools or something, but just thought I'd give you a heads up.

If you did a bunch of directory submissions chances are only 5% or so will show up for links: searches.

 

How are you so sure that your site have 5000 back links. Are all the links legible[without no follow]?

you must wait until search engines to index the pages that your links stay but i believe google will sandbox you. 5000 links in 2 days is so fast

 

Ive made this big big mistake in the past with one of my sites.

I paid a company that had a database of over 3000 links, they were all on different IP's and various types of websites. when purchased the links were on the sites instantly and not slowly and manualy like i thought they would....

Was ok for say the 1st week or so, then the google gods penalised my site in a big way and my serp's plummeted.

what i didnt do is go and check out these sites, but when i did i found that every single one of them had the same 'link farm' attached to the back end of there site (with no link from the main site to it) so it was basicly hidden from the public.

Ive said it before, all these so called quick fix sites are all a waste of time and do more dammage in the end than good.

thanks fpr all your support but there is nothing hard i have a dofferent marketing strategy which i will share on my website. only those who have subscribed. Yahoo altavista and all the web are showing is showing 230 out of it and for some people let me tell you this links varies from pr2 to pr10 and also some are not ranked. so i will tell you the trick
