Working parent – pros and cons

There is both a good side and bad one to being a working parent. The encouraging part is that as a working parent, I can make lots of money for the future of my children. However not being able to spend time with my children is also a painful thought.

Do you agree to my above mentioned statement?

I work from home and have my children around me all day, well one of them, the others at school.. Sometimes its a little hard when im snowed under with work.. but in general i get the best of both worlds.. I think i have the perfect balance now..:)

pros: The parents will have more money to support the child.

cons: Less time spent with the child that may have effects on him as they grow older.

I am a working mother who spends every living moment with her 3 kids, it's not easy by far, but the benefits of them growing up and knowing I was here every moment that they needed something makes it all worth while.

I'm just glad DP and msn chat doesn't have sound or no one would talk to me...lol

Just don't hang around your kids too much. Most kids later on will actually like it if their parents aren't around the house that often.
