    EstDomains is $12.79 I believe.

I mostly use Whiz.in and DomainSite though.

    this is fuc*ing crazy.......

I actually lost the domain after initiating registration.

I have to say both of domain registrars I chose were damn retard. They have absurd process of collecting order and sitting on it for 24-48 hours to approve (even after providing right credit card info). Cant they just automate the process.

I placed order 12 hours before and received 'approved' emails, but just checked now that domain is already gone.

Again: For me price was not important, it was the speed. Companies shouldn't open ****ing business online if they are going to do it like old-age shop (that too for all-electronic items which can be completely automated).

sify.com and rediff.com - never use them again.

Right now I am just fuming - goddamn it -these are supposed to be top portals of India and they are so ****ing backward.

sify - their ordering process is so stupid - after I registered my account and also entered email id on first page of ordering - at the end it still asks me to enter email id (and I have to traverse another two pages to do it)

The domain could have been worth some serious money!

    -excuse my rants!

Thats quite an innovative way of ensuring the correct email id has been entered :p

On a serious note, I am also looking for a fast a reliable .in registrar. Any one used Enom for this purpose?

Thanks man! Any idea how long they take to process the request (and register the domain actually).

I hope mainstream domain registrars start with .in now - its number one country extension in terms of number of domains being registered.

I think whiz.in is the cheapest .in registrar.

I use jodohost.com for my .in domains. However it isn't the cheapest.

whiz.in is the cheapest that I know and is used by many DP members.

Thanks! I think what matters is reliability when it comes to valuable domain name (that too when its not mainstream). I wouldn't have hesitated to spend extra $$.
