Can anyone suggest a e-book on directory

I am reading this directory forum for the past 30 days. I can see new directories coming up daily and making money within 2 or 3 months.

I am also interested in starting a directory and make some money from it. From this forum i learnt that it's not easy and reuires great promotion and high page rank.

Before starting a directory i would like to read more on that. I will keep on reading this forum which provides such huge information for free. It would be more useful if someone can recommend some ebooks or tutorials which explains directory business step by step.

Should i work full time or part time if i want to earn some decent money from directories?

I suggest that you start part time and venture into it fulltime once the money starts coming in, many i know have given up midway as it is difficult to put ones directory in the fasttrack with a limited budget as in the directory business, the promotion matters.

It is not about directories but about promoting, and thats what you should do to your directory

 

thanks for the reply. But i have read that ebook a year ago. It has nothing to do with directory promotion . It's about general seo which i already know.

Yes its not about directory promotion, but directory promotion and website promotion isnt that same ?
