Looking through pms I even see you got the pm about me paying you. You did ask what was taking so long for me to get you my host info but I am pretty sure you having to wait for host info does not give you the right to resell the site I PAID you for!

I can't believe my luck with scammers lately. You would risk your rep for a $12 site?

Scilynt, I'll tell you what, PM me your name, address, phone number, and email... and I'll push the domain to your GoDaddy account. You deserve the site, since you bought and paid for it first... and for $12, I'd rather see this worked out fair.

Lets see what stefan has to say. As long as it wasn't a deliberate scam then I am willing to work things out. My guess is my slow response to get him the needed server details for him to move it and such caused him to just forget he sold it to me even though he knew I paid. I know he was selling the script after so maybe he just assumed I was one of the script buyers.

Since I already paid, and since you already paid and he already actually pushed to domain to you, maybe he would be willing to install just the script on a few of my own domains in place. That way you get to keep the site, I can get help getting the script on a few domains I have sitting around and everything is cleared up.

I probably over-reacted a bit but have been having some pretty bad luck with sellers here lately and it just seemed like yet another scam. But after thinking about it I am pretty sure stefan wasn't trying to scam at all and probably just him forgetting.

 

2 cents: I think that last post by Scylint is the better solution, if Stefanlyl agrees,
since in order for Komodo to push the domain, he must wait 60 days, according to Godaddy TOS

wo nobody has been scammed , Scilynt said he wanted the site 2 months ago , he paid 10$ for it and everything. But 2 months later hadnt heard a word from him. I figured it fell through so i wanted to get rid of it. I offered a full refund and a copy of the script to Scilynt but instead he dediced to send me a nasty letter calling me a scammer and what not. I will not play the blame game with "inmature members" . I have offered to refund ALL PAYMENTS , but instead like i said just nasty and inmature remarks. Komodo the website is yours. Scilynt once again please send me your paypal so i can refund you money and i am offering a copy of the script for free. You said you hadnt want the domain anyway. So you are getting want you want free. I in kno way intended to "Scam" anyone and i have not "Scammed" anyone. I have simpyl had a bad judgement and i am OFERRING to fix and pay for the problem in whole.

I don't want to get into a silly flamefest over a silly free script on an info domain but what bugs me is the way you handled it. Rather than admit you screwed up and sold my site you turn around and blame me for taking too long and that is why you had to sell it lol. So if I buy a car but don't take it off the lot in a set amount of time they can just resell my car?

Also, it was not 2 months since you heard from me. As posted above, I even paid you less than a month ago and the sales thread isn't even that old. Of course exaggerating it makes it easier to justify.

My initial email to you before I realized you sold my site was with my host details so you could install it. Then I saw this thread and was surprised. You responded with an attitude like "sorry, you took too long, your fault".

It was never about the script. I have the script as mentioned. And it wasn't even about the domain. I was paying the $10 because I didn't have time to install the script and it seemed like a cheap solution. And that is why I presented the solution of rather than messing with the site ownership, you could install the script for me on a couple of my domains.

Whatever way you look at it or whatever reasons you come up with, you sold a site that I paid for. I personally get tired of people screwing up or flat out taking advantage of it because they can get away with it, cheap site or not. I just got done dealing with another mess because the guy thought he could do what he wanted and for the most part he was right...until DP users jumped in. My tantrum is less about the cheap site and more about the crappy attitude and assumption that people can do what they want even if screwing someone else.


I do apologize for overreacting but lately my luck with crappy sellers...well, puts me on nerve.

If you are willing to install the script on a couple domains for me on my server then I would be happy and you could keep the payment I gave you and komodo could keep his site.
