Would you monetize your signature space?

Some of us have a lot of messages spread accross many forums and blogs, and our message incluse our signature (name + site address sometimes)

If there were an advertising network that was designed for you to add a sponsored link below your name in your signature, would you take part, to make some money on a pay per click basis?

What do you think about the idea?

 

i would go for it i guess. but i would consider a contract basis option. i think its better if you get around $20 per month per link. that makes sense

 

i liked the idea but am curious whether do you have any plan for a sig advertising?

 

I think it's an interesting idea, however the Signiture holder would probably earn more if he sell is on a monthly basis, especailly if he has a lot of posts.

For the Buyer, your new Idea seems pretty decent, since he only pays for the people acutally interested (visitors)

Nice idea in general.

 

I wouldn't really do it as I would prefer to use the space to promote my own sites or if I wanted to I would sell the space directly myself which will cut out the middle man.

or you can put affiliate link in your sig like HostGator links

 

i think it is a dumb idea.
IMO,this forum or any other is not there so you can make money off your sig.
how many clicks will a sig get?i'm assuming not many.then there is the pcp,which may be 1 cent.
if your hard up for 10¢ a day,get a thing called a job.

 

well forum signature is best to make referral , I remember I put Adversal.com referral link in my signature and got 17 referral most from this forum

 

I've made about $200 from the referral links in my sig. Not too shabby if you ask me.
