Buying links can be good or bad

It is my understanding it takes 1000 back links to do any good so along with my manual submissions I have bought links and gotten better ranking however lately this has not worked. Submit edge worked for me well but I tried buying a few links for sale from this forum and someplace else and would have thought a total of 1600 links over the past month would have helped but not this time. When buying links how do we know who is selling authentic directory submissions. Also based on my experience paying for mass article submissions at I snare or Article Marketers works better than article directory submission when spending money on this kind of thing. Does anyone have any positive experience at any of this.

Can you point me to anywhere I can mass submit articles or directory submissions with good results. After buying 1000 backlinks from someone on this site with extremely poor results I must admit you will have to prove yourself somehow. I know there are likely some people on this site selling links who get good results but how do I know. There is the same problem with those I find doing a directory submission search on a search engine. I want permanent links. Submit Edge seems to be good but I figure I have links to the directories they have so there is no use buying anymore. When buying back links are they permanent or is there a length of time they last? If so how long is average?

it will be much better for you to exchange articles with others rather than buying links.
you don't need exchange by thousands. 20- 30 good articles will do

I don't know where you got that information from, but I'd ask for my money back.

I don't know how 'linkable' your website is, but I'm sure you can find better uses for the money that you appear to be throwing away pursuing links in the manner that you are.

It's not about the quantity of the links you get, it's the quality. If you really must buy links, use your budget to get a few quality links (with your desired anchor text) rather than getting lots of poor quality ones. Get off the beaten track and approach webmasters privately rather than relying on services and software.

That's if you really must buy links though.

I wish you well, but I fear your approach is somewhat flawed.

Recently, I've seen a lot of sites drop in SERPs (on Google) which had a lot of bought links. Since Google is penalizing paid links now, I wouldn't recommend you to go for them.
