    Interesting comment. Its actually is a decent way. I have a site currently seeing 800 a day in the low 400k in alexa and is newer then this one and this is getting almost 4 times the traffic so the alexa seems it should be better.. Without better proof it hard to say. Would be good to show refer traffic the origin and or analytics stats

    Um nice try... you dont actually get 3000 uniques a day to the site. Every time someone is on a proxy with your banner shown (because its hosted on your site), it will say its a unique visitor to your site, even if they dont actually see your site.

    Thats also why the bandwidth is so low, because the image is only 0.88KB. Also explains the Alexa rank.

    You should use Google Analytics to get the actual unique visitors on the site.

    Try using a free stat script thing (like http://extremetracking.com ) to see how many uniques are actually on your site.
