If you had 14 hours a day and had no job and just played World of warcraft you think its possible to make around $200 a month? Not from selling gold but selling an account? Ive heard of people making alot of money with that game not sure if its true or not.
I was thinking the same thing, i looked around on the web and seen people selling wow accounts highest was $900 and average around $500-600 for level 60's. Actually about 3 years ago i sold some old characters from Dark age of camelot and made $400.. But took awhile to get them where they were and played them for fun not out with the intention of selling them.
very smart and clever people know how to make/earn money from everything they come in touch with.........i wish to be among them and if not then with them
Well, I've seen MapleStory accounts being sold before for $2000-$3000 before, so yeah, it's definitely possible.
Yeah, that's actually true. Most of that occurs in the rural areas of China though, you don't usually see that happening where everything is industrialized.
damn that much for a maplestory account.. where i live alot of people play that game in the internet shops.
Hey,i am from Chinese, and i can tell you that one of my friends is doing such a job.But she sell the account for RMB.
I know it goes on alot in china, especially the cost of living there is much cheaper where they do it.
There's no way that selling gold can turn into a full time job that provides basic living wages, even if you do play 18 hours a day. At the moment, gold is bought for less than $0.04/gold - if you add up the amount of time it takes to farm the gold, you'd be lucky to break $5/day. It's just not worth it IMO.
Normally I'd agree LinkSales, but with World of Warcraft gold farming it really isn't something that's fun, hence why only people that are "employed" by gold selling business do it. Killing the same group of monsters for 18 hours a day on a very low wage is what I'd consider the worst job in the world.
I think it's possible or maybe it was more than 200. To think that you are wasting your 14 hours for that kind of business. Why not.
Well the guy thats interested in doing it.. i think his life is online gaming.. before he used to spend countless hours playing ragnarok.. As far as selling gold in world of warcraft you can get alot more then .04 or whatever it is.. if you go to ige.com and sell there they update their prices every few minutes.. highest i seen was .027 so sell 1000 gold you get $27 dollars. And not even gold farming because i think thats illegal in wow anyway. But if you get to level 60 in one month play and sell the account for $300 which is very possible you can do it that way also. I think the record time to level 60 in wow is around 10 days played could be more or less.. the guy who did it sells a online strategy guide on how to do it. Also his last job he worked about 10-12 hours a day driving a truck and made about $300 a month.
If you take the average time it takes to farm that 1000 gold, $27 is hardly worth the effort. It'd take you at least 4 full days.
Hi, I have a different idea regarding making money from games. rather than selling accounts, its possible to make money by becoming a game tester. Many high profile development studios seek game testers. You have to do reporting and try to crash/find bugs in the game and more. As well as write about what you like and what you find not fun etc. A site says you can make up to 80$ per hour testing games. Here's some quick info: game-testers.com/faq
