Dp has nearly 83,000 members who are here for all sorts of reasons.. I only bothered signing up to get in to the underground , no, seriously i see this as an excellant place to learn at very least the basics of anything webmaster related and thats the reason i became a member.. Why did you become a member?..
I became a member to take advantage of directory special offers. Now I am an active member becuse I like the "general chat" section. Many people become members and post like crazy so they can sell signature links. That's sad, but sometimes they post funny stuff. Stupid funny. (BTW, The links in my sig are there free )
This has been discussed quite a few times before I joined DP to 1) Learn More 2) Make Money 3) Make More Money
There's a lot of good information on this site. And seemed like a good place to network, so I joined.
One of the best ways to learn is to just go out and try things, and another is to listen to what people who've done it have to say. I've already found so much info on this site, between active members and old posts that it's just crazy. Figured it was time to actually sign up.
I just stumbed across DP by accident one day - it must have been a search engine referral or something. After looking around I could tell it was a pretty active and informative place so I registered. Making money, the small amount I do make, is a byproduct of membership - it certainly wasn't my intention to seek fame and fortune here.
I first joined to improve my SEO education. DP played a major role for me since then. I would like to say Thank You DigitalPoint and congrats to all the members who make this place wonderful each and every day. Keep up the great work !
